Parker's Farm Supply Reports to: Store Manager About the Role Parker's Farm Supply/Lyon Metal Roofing is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard/Shop Hand to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in excellent customer service, and doesn't mind getting a little dirty while helping our customers. You'll be responsible for assisting with loading and unloading products such as feed, seed, straw, and other farm supplies, maintaining a clean and organized yard, and supporting daily operations. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Yard Support:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner. Load and unload feed, seed, straw, roofing materials, and other products safely and efficiently. Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to customers with product handling and pickup. Represent Parker's Farm Supply with a positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Yard & Shop Operations:

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and storage areas. Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (we will provide forklift certification if not already certified). Help track inventory and restock materials as needed. Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis. Comfortable being on your feet most of the day and working in various weather conditions. Willing to perform physical, hands-on labor daily. Requirements Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately. Ability to safely lift heavy materials and handle physical tasks throughout the day. Basic mechanical or equipment-handling experience preferred (training provided). Preferred Skills Experience in a farm supply, construction, or warehouse environment. Forklift certification (or willingness to become certified through our provided training). Familiarity with agricultural or roofing materials is a plus. Why Join Us?
