(Department of Transportation) regulations Driver's License Full Job Description Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver Triangle Ready Mix — Morrisville, NC Full-Time | Competitive Wages Position Overview Triangle Ready Mix is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver to join our team in Morrisville, NC. In this role, you will safely transport and deliver concrete to job sites throughout Central North Carolina while providing excellent customer service and ensuring product quality. This position plays a key role in maintaining our reputation for reliability, efficiency, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck in compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Deliver concrete to customer job sites accurately and on schedule. Inspect loads to verify proper mix consistency and quantity; monitor slump and make adjustments when necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and job site personnel regarding delivery timing and placement. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and overall condition of assigned equipment. Manage delivery schedules efficiently to minimize delays and maximize customer satisfaction. Follow all workplace safety procedures and industry best practices. Qualifications Previous truck driving experience preferred, especially in the ready-mix concrete industry. (Minimum 2 years' experience) Must Pass DOT Physical and is required to pass the physical agility test. Experience with bridge masters, drop axles, or push axles is a plus. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B), preferably Class A, with a clean driving record. Strong communication and customer service skills. Mechanical knowledge preferred. Ability to lift materials, climb in and out of the truck, and work extended hours when needed. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
