Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations over the road Monday- Friday while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, warehouse operations, and the ability to operate a 26 ft Box Truck, Lift Gate, and Pallet Jack. Duties Safely operate a truck or delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of cargo transported. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and forklift operation. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and efficient logistics processes. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in route driving and delivery driving is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience driving box trucks or manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Must be able to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with moving cargo.
