Outdoor Park Attendant

Highlands Outpost (formerly Scaly Mountain Outdoor Center) is looking to hire staff for all of our outdoor activities including our tubing hill, gem mine, trout pond, and mountain coaster. Duties and activities change seasonally. All candidates are expected to be able to work any day of the week and on weekends. We are looking for hard-working people to join our amazing crew and some positions are fulltime year round jobs. Highlands Outpost is located in Scaly Mountain, NC at 7420 Dillard Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable with their own transportation. Responsibilities Great customer service Lift inspections Sending tubers down the hill! Cleaning Fish Operating Coaster Operating and Preparing Gem Mine Various maintenance work such as mowing, painting, cleaning etc. Qualifications Ability to lift 50 pounds Strong attention to detail Ability to listen and communicate effectively Ability to work in harsh weather conditions for long periods of time. Majority of work is outside and on your feet for the day.
