Job Summary Join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals with mobility challenges. In this energetic role, you'll operate specialized vehicles to shuttle passengers to medical appointments, community events, and other destinations. Your dedication to excellent customer service and safe driving will ensure passengers arrive comfortably and on time, making a meaningful difference in their daily lives. This paid position offers the opportunity to showcase your driving expertise while supporting community health and well-being. Duties Safely operate vehicle to transport passengers to scheduled appointments or destinations Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the trip Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met Communicate clearly with passengers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation at all times Maintain a clean, organized, and road-ready vehicle at all times. Experience Previous shuttle driving or delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with bus driving, trucks, or large van is a plus Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type Proven experience in paratransit or heavy lifting tasks is advantageous Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse passengers and team members Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and safety procedures for driving environments Experience in customer service roles that require patience, empathy, and professionalism is highly valued Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Must have your own vehicle to transport passengers Must be available Mon-Fri 6am-5pm Excellent punctuality and time management skills Professional, respectful, and customer service-oriented attitude Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills meet compassionate service!
