Location:

Southern Pines, NC (Amazon Facility WNC8) Pay $220 per / shift; paid every Friday.

Employment Type:

1099 Independent Contractor. Schedule 2 shifts available 7 days to be split between drivers. Day shift 1:00 P.M. - 1:00 A.M. and overnight 1:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Home Every Day. No OTR. No Touch Freight. Seeking professional CDL Class A drivers to share a 7-day-per-week Daytime and overnight schedule at an Amazon Facility in Southern Pines, NC. This is a yard hostler (yard jockey) position. You will move trailers within the Amazon yard only. No over-the-road driving, no customer deliveries, and no Touch Freight. $220 per shift. .Weekly pay every Friday. 1099 Independent Contractor position . Opportunity. Move trailers safely throughout the Amazon yard. Complete all assigned trailer moves accurately and efficiently. .Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections. .Follow Amazon safety procedures. .Maintain professional communication via text message with dispatch. .Minimum Qualifications. .Valid CDL Class A License. .Ability to operate a 10-speed manual transmission. .Clean, professional appearance and attitude. .Excellent attendance and punctuality. .Strong time management skills. .Dependable transportation to work. .Must be comfortable using text messaging for work communication. .Must be able to start immediately. Preferred yard jockey, hostler, or local driving experience. .Amazon Relay or Amazon yard experience is a plus, but not required.
