Job Description

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) Hit the
Road Safely:
Operate roll-off trucks and ancillary equipment to collect and transport waste to post-collection facilities efficiently.
Inspect & Protect:
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections, route sheet updates, and truck reports to ensure your vehicle remains in top condition.
Safety First:
Follow all company, federal, state/provincial, and local safety rules. Report any hazards, accidents, or mechanical issues immediately to your supervisor or lead.
Customer Champion:
Represent the GFL brand with a positive attitude, professional appearance, and exceptional customer service on every route.
Precision & Pride:
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, keep your truck cab clean, and collaborate with your team to optimize route efficiency. What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
Experience/License:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required with a minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience OR a CDL school certificate.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Skills:
Ability to maneuver heavy equipment safely, complete daily paperwork/inspections, and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Physical Demands:
Must be comfortable sitting for extended periods (up to 75% of the day), performing physical checks, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 lbs.
Adaptability:
