Class A CDL Truck Driver (Guaranteed 40 hours/week minimum, flexible schedule) Commutable distance from Barrett, MN or Buxton, ND are the preferred locations.
JOB SUMMARY
Operate and maintain equipment and support Barrett Agri's agronomic services direct to our customers in a professional and courteous manner. Operate a semi with a 53ft trailer primarily hauling loads for the tile side of the business but may flex to other loads such as fertilizer from time to time. Hauls will range up to the Canada border, Eastern SD, ND and
MN. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive semi-tractor and trailer, floater, sprayer (not required but a plus), vehicles, forklift, payloader, bobcat and other equipment to deliver products directly to the customer.
  • Maintain equipment, including but not limited to changing oil, simple repairs and washing.
  • Work with crop protection, plant nutrition and shop managers to do daily tasks of operation as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in a similar field for at least 5 years preferred. Class A CDL license required with a clean driving record.
SKILLS NEEDED
:
  • Must have strong integrity and communications skills to work with customers and fellow team members efficiently.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of safe equipment operation. Need to take responsibility for maintaining a clean and well-running machine. Communicate with mechanic to schedule maintenance and repairs.
  • Must have excellent critical thinking skills to assess a situation and independently begin problem solving steps. Be able to see a need and address it without supervisor prompting.
  • Be willing and able to obtain application certificates, commercial drivers' license and other necessary certifications.
  • Must be physically able to lift 50lbs, climb stairs, fit into tight spaces.
  • Be a team player. Work well with different personalities and remain professional at all times.
  • Be able to deliver exceptional customer service to all our customers.
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
