Northern Plains Distributing in West Fargo N.D. is looking for a CDL-A Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team. Northern Plains Distributing is a Wholesale Appliance & Outdoor Cooking Distributor. We distribute products in 7 states. Hired individual will be responsible for assisting in our distribution center located in West Fargo and delivering product in the upper mid-west. This is a warehouse and truck driving position. Equipment being operated includes a semi tractor towing a 53" dry van. About the
Job:
We are growing and need additional help with product delivery and in our warehouse. The hired individual would split time between our warehouse and delivering products to our dealer's retail locations while maintaining positive dealer relationships. Deliveries will be mostly day runs with the potential for an ocassional overnight run. Home every weekend.Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure product is loaded according to delivery manifest
- Assist in loading and unloading all products at distribution center
- Transport to and unload materials at dealer's location using a dock or a ramp
- Verify products being delivered are as listed on delivery ticket
- Complete paperwork showing date and who delivered
- Have dealer sign paperwork to show receipt of goods
- Complete ELD logs accurately
- Perform daily inspection of truck as required by DOT regulations. Report any issues or concerns to your manager
- Conform to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to load, unload, push, pull, lift, and cart up to 150 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the shift.
- Forklift, Basaloid and Clamp forklift operation
- Inside/outside conditions
