Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Over the Road Truck Driver holding a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)! In this role, you will have a designated route traveling from Williston to Bismarck and back. Overnighting in Bismarck is preferred but not required. Truck is equipped with sleeper cab. Pay is by the mile or trip and is based on experience. This position averages 4-5 trips per week and runs Monday-Friday. No handling of freight is required. Freight is loaded by supplier and unloaded by warehouse team at our home office. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes. Plan and follow optimized routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across multiple states or regions. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, deliveries, and cargo handling activities in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Communicate effectively with supplier and home office. Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, including hours of service, vehicle maintenance, load securement, and safety protocols. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with proven experience in commercial truck driving and route delivery. Demonstrated expertise in operating various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers. Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and navigation accuracy. Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight including manual handling, truck loading/unloading, and forklift operation if applicable. Ability to drive manual transmission trucks confidently over long distances while maintaining safety standards. Strong understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance requirements. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws. Physical ability to handle manual tasks related to cargo loading/unloading and vehicle inspections. Pay:
$0.55 - $0.60 per mile
