Job Title:
CDL Driver Job Description The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting products between company facilities and customer locations using steel-sided flatbed trucks and roll-off containers. This role involves loading and unloading metal products, working both independently and as part of a team, and handling materials weighing up to 60 pounds alone and heavier loads with assistance. Responsibilities Transport products safely and efficiently to company facilities and customer locations using steel-sided flatbed trucks and roll-off containers. Operate Class A CDL vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Load and unload products from trailers, working independently or with a team as needed. Lift up to 50-60 pounds independently and handle loads over 100 pounds with assistance and proper equipment. Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport and prevent product damage Essential Skills Valid Class A CDL license. Proven Class A CDL driving experience. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds independently. Ability to lift and move 100+ pounds with assistance. Experience operating trucks with steel-sided flatbeds and roll-off containers. Experience working with metal products or in metal recycling environments. Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and load-securing practices. Ability to work safely outdoors in all weather conditions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with handling and transporting materials. Strong attention to safety and adherence to transportation regulations. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team. Why Work Here? You will operate Class A CDL trucks, including steel-sided flatbeds and roll-off containers, in an industrial setting where safety procedures and proper use of equipment are essential. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, NE.
