We are seeking a Hospital Driver to support our hospital by safely transporting medical items between labs, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. This role also helps support patients and visitors through occasional non-emergency transportation assistance. In this role, you will: Pick up and deliver medical supplies, lab specimens, equipment, documents, and other materials in a timely and secure manner. Travel between hospital departments, labs, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities using a hospital-provided or approved vehicle. Provide courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Assist with occasional non-emergency patient transportation needs as assigned. We are looking for someone who has: A high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license and clean driving record. A strong commitment to safe driving, patient safety, confidentiality, and excellent customer service. Previous experience in healthcare transportation, courier services, delivery driving, patient transport, or customer service preferred, but not required.
Schedule and Travel:
Flexible availability may be needed based on hospital needs, courier routes, and patient transportation requests. Travel is required using a hospital-provided or approved vehicle. This is an as-needed, prn position, for approximately 5-15 hours per week.
