Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a CDL A Truck Driver, operating in a fast-paced, team-driven environment to deliver freight efficiently and safely across various over-the-road (OTR) routes. This role offers the opportunity to work with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized equipment, ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. As a key player in our logistics network, you will be responsible for transporting freight, managing cargo handling, and maintaining compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations. This position is ideal for motivated drivers seeking consistent routes and the camaraderie of a dedicated team. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across long-distance OTR routes, ensuring timely deliveries. Load and unload freight using appropriate manual handling techniques, including forklift operation when necessary. Transport refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, or specialized cargo such as tanker or flatbed loads while complying with all hazardous materials regulations. Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes and ensure accurate delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate route changes, delivery updates, and safety alerts. Experience Valid CDL A license with clean driving record; experience operating tractor-trailers including manual transmission preferred. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially in route driving for freight delivery across diverse terrains. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, or dump trucks is highly desirable. Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures including load & unload operations and freight security. Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling. Experience working within safety standards related to truck loading/unloading and manual handling tasks.
