Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Septic Pump Truck Driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will operate specialized trucks designed for septic tank pumping and waste removal, ensuring efficient and safe service delivery to our valued customers. Your expertise in truck driving and route management will help maintain our reputation for reliable service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, navigate diverse routes, and contribute to environmental sanitation efforts with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Safely operate septic pump trucks and other related vehicles, including flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, refrigerated trailers, and tractor-trailers. Load, transport, and unload septic waste materials efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and environmental standards. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment before and after shifts to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow designated routes for scheduled service calls, adjusting plans as needed based on customer needs or traffic conditions. Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment at job sites, including the use of forklifts when necessary. Maintain accurate records of waste loads, service times, and route logs for compliance and reporting purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and special instructions. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, especially with commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, tanker trucks, or dump trucks. Strong knowledge of route driving best practices with a focus on safety and efficiency. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently. Familiarity with specialized equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks is a plus. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety standards in freight delivery environments. Ability to load & unload materials accurately while following safety protocols. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively.
