Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become the essential link in providing prompt, professional vehicle recovery. In this energetic role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to recover vehicles from accident scenes, and ensure safe transportation of vehicles across various locations. Your mechanical expertise and customer service skills will shine as you deliver reliable service with safety and efficiency at the forefront. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and vehicle recovery units, to tow vehicles safely and efficiently. Conduct vehicle inspections, perform basic mechanical troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure tow truck readiness. Secure vehicles properly using cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Assist with vehicle loading and unloading, ensuring safe vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and compliance with safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during driving, cargo securement, and vehicle recovery operations. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, shift reports, incident documentation, and equipment checks. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving or car towing with a valid driver's license for commercial vehicles. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and basic vehicle troubleshooting. Familiarity with automotive repair procedures and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers is preferred. Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques is essential. Prior experience in customer service roles within automotive or roadside assistance industries is highly valued. $18.50 - $25.00 per hour
