Job Description

Job Title Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver Job Description Medical Transportation is seeking dependable, professional, and safety-conscious drivers to transport passengers to and from medical appointments and other approved healthcare destinations. This position is for non-emergency medical transportation using passenger vehicles/minivans . No tractor-trailer or commercial truck driving is involved. Responsibilities Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments. Arrive on time for scheduled pickups and drop-offs. Assist passengers with safe entry and exit from the vehicle when appropriate. Maintain professional and courteous communication with passengers, dispatchers, and medical facilities. Follow assigned routes and trip schedules. Keep the vehicle clean and presentable. Complete required trip documentation accurately. Follow company safety policies and NEMT transportation requirements.
Driver Requirements Applicants must:
Have a valid driver's license . Provide a driver abstract / Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) covering the previous 5 years . Have an acceptable/clean driving record that meets company and insurance requirements Be dependable, punctual, professional, and able to communicate with dispatch. Have reliable transportation to and from work. Required Training / Certifications Drivers may be required to complete or provide: Defensive Driving Course First Aid, CPR & AED

Driver Training / Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity Any additional training required by Medical Transportation or its transportation contracts. Position NEMT Driver -
