Physical Certification Full Job Description A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time CDL-A Port Truck Driver to join our team in Carteret, NJ . You will be driving a day cab tractor pulling 40-45' Ocean containers from Port Elizabeth/Newark/Staten Island to Carteret, NJ or Parkesburg, Pa. Why Pyle? The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Performing general warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading trailers Completing deliveries and or pickups to various location(s) Performing lift gate deliveries, including unloading and loading at stops as needed Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License Must obtain Hazmat within 90 days of employment Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience Must Have TWIC Card Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card Must be at least 21 years of age or older No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance For a full job description associated with this posting, please contact A.
