Responsibilities Safely operate 26 Ft. box trucks and commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver goods across designated routes. Load and unload products efficiently using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring items are handled with care. Drive route schedules diligently, maintaining punctuality and adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance; report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with warehouse tasks when needed, including moving inventory and supporting loading/unloading operations. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of deliveries made, mileage, and any discrepancies or incidents. Experience Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Will train Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience in warehouse environments involving heavy lifting, moving items, or operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of route planning and driving safety protocols essential for efficient deliveries. Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly throughout the shift; physical stamina is required.
