Competitive hourly pay:
$31.95/hour Top earners make $90,000 + per year 100% Touch Freight Solo routes, Driver/Driver routes and Driver/Helper routes available.

employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition discount program, and more! Responsibilities 1. Moves tractor/trailers to and from loading/receiving doors of the Distribution Center.2. Perform visual inspection of shuttle trailers for road readiness.3. Direct all drivers to the correct/assigned door.4. Park trucks and/or trailers.5. Check fluid levels (fuel) - notify supervisor if low. Enter fuel amounts into the computer on the tractor.6. Inform Supervisor of backhauls - refer to backhaul list.7. Set up shuttles.8. Inform supervisor of equipment breakdowns. Contain spills and inform the supervisor. Report equipment defects. Check that all wheel chock blocks are being used.9. Perform temperature checks on trailers for freezer and cooler. Make sure temps are set correctly and maintained.10. Be sure all pallet trailers are in good condition and safe to be moved. Tag out-of-service trailers and/or move to the appropriate storage location.11. Respond to requests on time for trailer moves in and out of doors.12. Maintain an accurate route sheet, calling out new trailers, out-of-service trailers, and trailers returning to service.13. Provide coverage for shuttle and route services as needed (Class A required).14. All other related yard tasks (cranking landing gear, etc). Qualifications 1. CDL Class A License preferred, minimum six (6) months driving experience 2. Current medical card required3. Must have a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) in accordance with DCP guidelines for hiring4. Must be able to operate a manual and automatic transmission tractor5. On Board Computer/Electronic Log System Experience preferred6. Ability to work well with little supervision7. Ability to interact well with all employees8. Strong oral and written communication skills9. Excellent Interpersonal Skills10. Flexible to varying work schedules
