Position Summary Deliver fresh meal prep orders to customers safely, on schedule, within the cold-chain and with a healthy, friendly, customer-first attitude. This role works closely with the kitchen and packing team to ensure orders are accurate, handled with care in transit, and delivered with clear communication from start to finish of each shift. Essential Job Functions

• Ensuring proper meal count
• Ensuring deliveries arrive undamaged, on time, handling special delivery instructions or order substitutions as needed
• and with any customer instructions followed
• Communicate with customer when necessary for any delivery issues , troubleshooting with customer service
• Work with Expo team to bag orders efficiently
• Maintain safety requirements while on the road
• Communicate with customer service in regard to customer related issues
• Communicate all vehicle related issues to Logistics manager and/or Assistant
• Maintaining route efficiently set by the manager.
• Assisting any drivers that may run behind (Drivers are not allowed to deny any emergency tasks assigned by customer service)
• Ensuring the vehicles are filled with proper fuel. Diesel or gasoline depending on vehicle.
• Making sure vehicles have required fluids, windshield wiper fluid, DEF, fuel stabilizer and are kept at determined levels.
• Inspecting vehicles to make sure they are road worthy prior to leaving the facility and communicating any issues or concerns immediately to supervisor
• Maintaining proper food temperature during transit
• Loading and organizing the vehicle in delivery order prior to departure
• Obtaining proof of delivery (signature, photo, or app confirmation) at each stop
• Keeping the vehicle interior clean and sanitary
• Checking each vehicle in and out at beginning and end of shift, making sure any cosmetic, mechanical or other issues are logged and communicated to supervisor Qualifications
• Valid driver's license with a clean/safe driving record
• Ability to lift and carry meal totes/coolers (up to 40 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift
• Friendly, professional communication skills for customer-facing interactions
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively on a set route
• Comfortable with early-morning start times and a consistent 4-day weekly schedule
• Comfortable using a smartphone and GPS/routing apps
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• 1+ years of driving or delivery experience preferred, but not required
• Reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid auto insurance
• Basic food handling knowledge; food handler certification a plus
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Team player who works well with kitchen, customer service, retail and expo staff

Pay:

$18.00
