HIRING COMPANY CDL-CLASS A DRIVERS
About Us:
Voyager Trucking Corporation specializes in the transportation and brokerage of municipal solid waste and construction debris from transfer stations to landfills throughout the northeast - keeping our communities clean and healthy. We are currently looking to hire safety-conscious company class A drivers in the Newark and Elizabeth area. This job is 40 hrs per week with no overtime . Monday through Friday or Saturday.
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRUCK.
Driver Duties and Responsibilities Tipper trailer experience a PLUS Transports municipal solid waste, construction, and demolition Accurate & timely ELD and load reporting Local run 150 air-mile exemption No Touch Freight/No handling of materials Local/Home daily operations Driver Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A license) with a clean driving record. Experience in route driving and operating independently. Must have 2 years CDL-A Driving Experience Must have a clean MVR , PSP and Clearinghouse report. Must have an active medical card, pass a road test and drug test. Must have the ability to climb a ladder and operate a tarping system. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining logs and records. Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients. Can drive a manual truck.
