Company Overview Lorco Petroleum has been recycling America's used oil since 1957, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices. We are dedicated to providing reliable and efficient oil recycling services across the nation. Job Overview Lorco Petroleum Services is currently hiring a CDL B Vacuum Tanker Truck driver to make LOCAL pick-ups and deliveries for our Elizabeth, NJ facility. Our Vacuum truck drivers collect used oils, antifreezes, and oily water from large corporations to small family-owned automotive shops and gas stations. Lorco operates a well-maintained fleet which is comprised of mostly newer automatic Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks.

  • CDL - B License with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements
  • Valid Medical Card
  • Must have a "clear" MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
  • Obtain a TWIC Card & pass a Pre-Employment Physical & DOT Drug Test.
  • Pass a road test monitored by an approved Lorco licensed driver.

Tablet Responsibilities:
Safely operate a tanker truck and obey all traffic control devices. The ability to work an 8-10-hour day, (usually 5 days a week) with the time divided between driving and stopping at customer's sites to service their needs. The strength to repeatedly climb into and out of truck cab, up and down the ladder onto the top of the tanker truck. Perform a Pre and Post - Trip Inspection on the truck you were provided. The strength to move around a hose to and from the customer's holding tanks. Manage a schedule and work independently. Proficient in driving both a manual and automatic transmission truck Properly clean up product spills when necessary The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend and twist during the course of the day. The ability to work outside and manage the weather accustomed to the northeast Must be able to effectively communicate (verbal & written) & maintain a professional business relationship with all customers. Have a good sense of direction and the ability to interpret a map, minimizing the possibility of getting lost or traveling on restricted roadways. All Lorco Petroleum Services drivers are required to wear the following Personal Protective Equipment, (P.P.E.): Company uniform (pants, shirt, jacket) Bright high visibility illuminated vest or shirt Gloves - Chemical resistant gloves (i.e., nitrile or rubber) Hard Hat (when required) Eye Protection, usually safety glasses, possibly goggles and or face shield Steel toed boots, oil resistant & black Inclement weather gear rain jacket & rubber boots (when necessary) Lorco Petroleum Services, founded in 1957, has grown into one of the foremost leaders in the petroleum recycling industry.
