Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual & auto transmission, including dry bulk tankers, Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts or other equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling of sensitive or heavy freight. Drive route schedules across local, regional, or regional routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve any issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols related to refrigerated freight, tanker loads, flatbed cargo, or other specialized shipments to ensure secure transportation. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license. Experience operating dry bulk tankers, dump trucks, is highly desirable. Excellent route driving skills with the ability to plan efficient delivery routes for timely arrivals. Ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks. Good communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, clients, and team members professionally. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight transportation.
