EXPERIENCED COMMERCIAL DRIVER SLEEPER CAB, DRY & REEFER TRAILER
needed for Deliveries & Pick-Up's in the North East Region or to shuttle locally between the companies warehouses. Our ideal candidate must be available to work a flexible five days per week between the hours of 5:00am - 6:00pm, be able to do overnight runs ( 2-3 nights per week ) and occasional 1/2 day Saturday's. Responsibilities Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers Inspect their given Sleeper Cab & Trailer for mechanical, damages and safety issues. Perform preventative maintenance. Keep trucks and reefer trailers fueled. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules /appt. times. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel receipts Know how to drive a hi-lo or hand-jack Comply with all truck driving company rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures Know how to maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions (drop & hook) Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations to the Logistics Dept. Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver (must have over 3 yrs. OTR experience) Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD's, etc.) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge on how to drive manual & automatic Sleepers / Day cabs as well as Trailers Dry & Reefer Units. Must know how to drop & hook Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid truck driving license & Medical card Must be well mannered, write & speak

Tractor/Trailer Driver for a Food Manufacturer & Distributor. Delivering for Retail & Food Service Companies. Pickup Raw Materials from Suppliers Regional Carrier - North East (Tri-State Area, MD,CT, RI,VT) - Possible TX run 1-2xs per month Overnight deliveries (up to 2-3 times per week max) Estimated 45-65 hrs. per week. Overtime after 40 hours. Personal Time Off / Sick Time Given Individual Medical Benefits 3-4 years of driving experience

$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
