  • Our shop is located in Hackensack, NJ.
  • We do Gas and Diesel repairs as well as towing.
In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, performing minor mechanical repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, vehicle mechanics, and cargo securement will drive our success while providing essential services to drivers in need. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently. Perform vehicle loading onto tow trucks using proper cargo securement protocols to ensure safety during transit. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assist in vehicle recovery or roadside assistance. Manage vehicle recovery towing operations with precision, adhering to safety standards and mechanical knowledge. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally. Follow safe driving practices and maintain compliance with commercial truck driving regulations and traffic laws. Assist with load & unload procedures, ensuring vehicles are secured properly for transport and delivery. Experience Proven experience as a commercial truck driver or tow truck operator with a strong understanding of automotive mechanics for truck drivers. Hands-on mechanic experience or automotive repair skills are highly desirable. Knowledge of manual transmission operation and basic vehicle troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers. Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations effectively while maintaining professionalism. Valid commercial driving license with a clean driving record; experience with flatbed tow trucks preferred. Pay:
$25.64 - $40.87 per hour
