Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and reliable CDL Class A Over the Road Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across long-distance routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced drivers who enjoy traveling, managing logistics, and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road. The company shall provide all equipment and cover the cost of all fuel and tolls. Responsibilities Operate refrigerated tractor-trailers on over-the-road routes. Routes will generally be one week to Florida and one week to the Midwest Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo documentation in accordance with legal requirements. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Skills Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Experience driving tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes with a focus on safety and compliance. Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling and securing loads properly. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries. Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules.
