Schedule:

Thurs-Mon or Fri-Tues. Start 1 AM

• 5 AM. 5-day workweek. 2 mandatory 6th days per month Deliver fresh and frozen groceries on a '53, '51, or '48 ft reefer trailer to supermarkets and DCs Operate within 250 miles of Chester, NY
• NY Hudson Valley, the 5 boroughs, and Long Island (After required training), NY, CT.

Backhauls range throughout the same areas, including PA. Drivers must have personal, reliable transportation to and from work daily. Minimum requirements Valid Class A CDL At least 22 years old 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years Experience must be with a trailer of 53 feet or longer No more than 3 moving violations in 3 years No more than 3 preventable accidents in 3 years No at-fault fatal accidents Summary As a Local Class A Driver, you will safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport freight within 250 miles of Chester, NY. Your core skills in commercial driving and truck operation will be essential for timely deliveries. You will utilize premium skills such as handling automatic transmissions and dry van trailers. The company expects you to maintain high safety standards and provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction throughout your routes. Responsibilities Operate a Class A tractor-trailer to transport freight safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Participate in employee orientation and training programs as required. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate deliveries.
