is seeking an experienced RGN Haul Truck Driver to join our growing team. This position is responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment, oversized loads, and construction machinery throughout West Texas and Eastern New Mexico using a Removable Gooseneck (RGN) trailer. The ideal candidate will have experience hauling over-dimensional and overweight loads, securing heavy equipment, and operating safely in both commercial construction and oilfield environments. This role requires attention to detail, strong safety awareness, and the ability to travel regularly to various job sites. Job Duties Safely transport heavy equipment and oversized loads using RGN trailers Load and unload equipment including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery Properly secure loads using chains, binders, straps, and other tie-down equipment Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer equipment Operate and maintain RGN trailer systems, including removable gooseneck functions Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and oversize load requirements Coordinate and follow oversize/overweight permit routing requirements Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and delivery paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and job site personnel Travel throughout West Texas and Eastern New Mexico as needed Requirements Valid Class A CDL required Minimum 3+ years of heavy haul and/or RGN trailer experience preferred Experience hauling oversized and overweight loads Strong understanding of load securement and safety procedures Ability to operate safely in construction and oilfield environments Knowledge of DOT regulations and oversize permit procedures Must be willing to travel Flexible schedule and availability to work varying hours as needed Must pass a pre-employment drug screening Subject to background check Clean driving record preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience hauling heavy construction and oilfield equipment Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment and trailers Experience with multi-axle trailer configurations Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Frequent travel to job sites Physical labor required for securing/unsecuring heavy equipment Safety-focused team environment
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
