Pick-ups Trucker Are you ready to join a dynamic team dedicated to sustainability and community service? Re-use Hawai'i is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Pick-ups Trucker to help us in our mission of reducing waste and promoting reuse on Oahu. This exciting opportunity allows you to play a crucial role in transporting donated materials from our community pick-up program to our Redistribution Center.

Responsibilities:

Drive, load, and unload Re-use Hawai'i vehicles with care and efficiency Perform deliveries of materials for Redistribution customers Pick up donated materials from our community pick-up program Provide excellent customer service while representing our organization's values Maintain our vehicle fleet and equipment Conduct daily safety inspections of trucking equipment and take corrective action as needed Track vehicle and equipment inspections/maintenance using the Whiparound app Assist in coordinating vehicle and equipment repairs Ensure safe stacking, organization, and securing of building materials before transport Transport materials from Deconstruction job sites as needed Perform supply runs when required

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract (CDL not required) Experience driving cab-over flatbed trucks and box trucks Thorough knowledge of Oahu roadways Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Excellent verbal communication skills High proficiency using hand and power tools Reliable, responsible, accountable, honest, organized, and efficient Strong commitment to Re-use Hawai'i's mission Join our team and enjoy competitive compensation starting at $20 per hour, comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, and more! This full-time position offers a consistent schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, based at our Re-use Hawai'i Redistribution Center.
