ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Guest Transportation Driver, you ll be a critical first point of contact, setting the tone for a guest s entire Vermejo experience. This role requires exceptional service skills, a safety-first mindset, and a deep appreciation for hospitality. You will also be responsible for: Safely transporting guests between designated airports and Vermejo in company vehicles. Delivering excellent guest service by assisting with luggage, answering questions, and providing a warm welcome. Monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of transportation vehicles. Tracking weather and road conditions to ensure timely and safe travel adjustments. Coordinating with Guest Services and Reservations teams regarding guest itineraries and transportation logistics. Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; report any mechanical issues promptly. Supporting the guest check-in/check-out process, including property tours and departure scheduling. Scheduling and confirming guest activities, spa appointments, meal reservations, and excursions. Handling guest feedback professionally and resolving concerns in a timely manner. Performing other duties as assigned.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
High school diploma or GED. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. This position primarily requires operation of a company vehicle. Due to commercial auto insurance coverage requirements, candidates must be over the age of 25, possess a valid driver s license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment, and have a driving record which meets the standards and requirements of the Company and the Company s insurance provider. You ll need to present documentation establishing both identity and employment authorization within three days of hire pursuant to federal law.
Preferred:
Education in hospitality or related field Experience working in a luxury hospitality Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software

ACCOMMODATIONS
This position will require you to live at Vermejo headquarters, located approximately 40 miles from the closest town (Raton, NM). Vermejo s location is approximately 4.5 hours drive south of Denver or 4.5 hours drive north of Albuquerque. Vermejo offers single- and double-bedroom dorm room style company housing (subject to availability). You may be subject to sharing a room with one other employee depending on the availability of a single dorm room. You will need to provide or arrange for your own transportation to and from Raton for personal supplies.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
The Guest Transportation Driver role is active and guest-facing, requiring physical stamina, attentiveness, and mobility throughout the day. On a regular basis, you can expect to: Stand; walk; move hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more. Perform physical labor for extended periods of time. Be on your feet for extended periods of time. On an occasional basis, you can expect to sit for periods of time, particularly during transportation duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. You will regularly be required to work both indoors (in office or reception areas) and outdoors. You may occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Extended working hours may be required, particularly during peak guest arrival and departure periods.
