Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for keeping the trucks and Wash Bay clean. Coordinating with operations on downtime of the wash. May be required to drive PTL CMV as necessary to complete duties and responsible.
Essential Responsibilities:
Keeping the wash bay and small equipment area clean and neat. Minor maintenance of wash equipment. Opening and closing of the car wash. Moving trucks safely. Parking trucks safely and in an organized manner. Washing and organizing tires. Organize Wash Bay equipment. Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects. Notify management of unsafe conditions or need for repairs and performing some maintenance. Communicate any issues that arise with supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:
Class A CDL required Doubles/Triples endorsement required Minimum three years' full time work experience Experience in transportation industry strongly preferred, with exposure to fuel/lubricant product distribution desired. If Marine position, exposure to marine operations (i.e. docks, ports) preferred Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Review of current 1 and/or 2-year medical card. Willing to accept documents administered within the last 6 months from the date of application. Ability to pass

pre-employment screenings including by not limited to a drug test(s), Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), Criminal Background, Inspection Report (PSP), FMCSA Clearinghouse, and CMV road test. All screenings are reviewed and evaluated against our hiring minimum guidelines to determine eligibility. Ask a recruiter for details! Ability to travel and drive the truck off road, on roads that are narrow and have steep inclines and visit locations perform required duties. Ability to have excellent safety awareness and ethics Per the FMCSA, drivers of commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) operating in interstate commerce are required to be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records. Ability to observe and comply with safety and security procedures; Attention to details Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments. Integrity and ability to work independently.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required
Working Conditions:
Ability to safely enter the cab of truck, even when surfaces are slick. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs frequently. Ability to push/pull up to 150 lbs frequently. Ability to sit and/or drive for long periods of time. Ability to climb a 10' ladder. Ability to work in and around chemicals and fuels. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to work with noise of engines, drilling rigs, pumps and equipment. Ability to stoop, bend, conduct work overhead for extended periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers. Ability to work under adverse weather conditions: rain, fog, ice, snow, wind and temperatures ranging from 10o to 100o+.
