In this role, you'll be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and hauling debris, furniture, appliances, and other unwanted items using various commercial trucks. Your proactive approach and safety-conscious mindset will ensure smooth operations while providing excellent service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and make a tangible difference in communities by managing waste responsibly and adhering to all safety and transportation regulations. Duties Operate different types of commercial trucks including excavators, dump truck, while following all DOT (Department of Transportation) and state transportation laws. Load and unload debris, furniture, appliances, hazardous materials (per regulations), and other waste materials with manual lifting or mechanical equipment such as excavators. Safely drive route-specific trucks to designated locations, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while complying with traffic laws and safety protocols. Maintain vehicle safety by performing routine inspections, understanding air brake systems, mechanical knowledge of trucks, and adhering to hazard materials regulations. Assist customers courteously during pickups or drop-offs; provide excellent customer service by addressing questions professionally. Follow safety procedures rigorously during outdoor work activities involving heavy lifting, waste handling, and traffic management. Keep accurate logs of loads delivered or picked up, complete shift reports, and document any incidents or maintenance needs promptly. Experience Proven experience operating commercial. Strong knowledge of heavy lifting techniques combined with familiarity with solid waste management practices. Valid driver's license. Demonstrated understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, hazard materials handling (if applicable), and municipal waste management standards. Prior outdoor work experience involving route driving or delivery driving is advantageous. Mechanical aptitude for basic truck maintenance checks; ability to identify mechanical issues quickly. Excellent safety protocol adherence skills coupled with defensive driving techniques to ensure personal and team safety at all times. Junk removal and labor position. Joint our growing crew. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
