Position Summary:
Personal Touch Food Service, Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to support food service operations for the Lake Shore Central School. The driver will be responsible for the timely and secure delivery of meals and supplies to various school locations, maintaining safe food handling procedures, and assisting with loading and unloading as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport meals, supplies, and equipment between designated school sites in a timely and safe manner Load and unload food items while ensuring proper handling and storage Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the delivery vehicle Follow established delivery routes and schedules Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and transportation regulations Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and supervisors Report any vehicle maintenance needs or delays promptly Assist in kitchen or storage areas during non-driving times as needed Perform other duties as assigned by the
Food Service Manager or Supervisor Requirements:
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Prior delivery experience preferred Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently Knowledge of safe food handling procedures is a plus Must pass background and driving checks per district requirements
