Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking experienced CDL Class A Over-the-Road (OTR) Drivers to join our team. This role involves operating tractor-trailers across long-distance routes, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight to various destinations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, with experience handling different types of trailers such as refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, and roll-off trucks. This position offers the opportunity to work on route driving assignments that require load and unload responsibilities, utilizing skills in freight management and vehicle operation. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers across long-distance routes, adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations. Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo such as refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, or tanker contents. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance standards are met. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Navigate routes effectively using GPS or route planning tools while managing delivery schedules. Communicate with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery statuses, and any issues encountered during trips. Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly. Assist with forklift operations or other equipment as needed for loading or unloading cargo. Requirements Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Experience with manual transmission trucks preferred but not mandatory. Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery. Familiarity with different trailer types such as refrigerated trailers and dry vans. Ability to operate specialized equipment like forklifts if required for loading/unloading cargo. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight handling. No touch frieght. Experience with tractor-trailer operation in various conditions is highly desirable. Pay:
Up to $2,500.00 per week
