POSITION SUMMARY
\n Ensure the reliable and efficient delivery of all products scheduled for distribution, manage drivers, and handle customer delivery issues. \n
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
\n The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary. \n \n Interact with Sales and Dispatch Departments to ensure dependable delivery service. \n Maximize delivery efficiencies by achieving daily case targets and daily customer stop targets. \n Ensure proposed scheduling of personnel. \n Manage driver check-in and check-out procedures. \n Review and investigate previous day's results as necessary. \n Complete and review daily route surveys. \n Follow up on merchandising performance by drivers. \n Respond to all driver issues. \n Manage driver returns and breakage on trucks. \n Manage/respond to customer issues. \n Interact with Warehouse/Dispatch/Sales Departments relative to issues and resolution. \n Maintain daily performance log, report warehouse loading results. \n Document and investigate all driver accidents, personal injuries reports. \n Ensure all company policies are communicated and followed. \n Inspect company vehicles and equipment regularly. \n Performs other duties as required.\n \n \n \n
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION
\n \n Equivalent of (1) Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or closely related field and minimum of 2 years of directly applicable experience as a delivery driver, sales representative and/or sales manager; OR (2) 7 years of directly applicable experience as a delivery driver, sales representative and/or sales manager. \n CDL/DOT card. \n Must maintain a valid Driver's License. \n Experience developing comprehensive strategies, business and sales plans, and schedules. \n Three years experience recruiting, hiring, leading, and managing performance for an outside delivery/sales team. \n Experience with MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. \n Previous experience in a union environment. \n \n \n
COMPENSATION RANGE
\n Earn up to $80,000.00 per year including base, overtime and commissions! \n Starting at $12.1336 hourly however, you will potentially earn a minimum of $1,000.00 a week or more. \n \n The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required by personnel so classified.
