JOB DESCRIPTION

• A FedEx Ground company is seeking a highly motivated and energetic pickup and delivery driver.
• Driver delivers and picks up packages in a predetermined area in lower Westchester County throughout the day.
• Typical work day begins at 8:00 AM and ends around 5:00 PM, depending on package volume.
• Must be willing to work Saturdays and/or Sundays

REQUIREMENTS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Must have a fairly clean motor vehicle record (note: a CDL is

NOT REQUIRED

)

• Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and DOT physical
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Must have a minimum of 12-months experience driving step vans or at least 16 foot box trucks
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, including:
• Ability to stand, drive and lift packages during entire shift
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other team members
• Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
• Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work flexible hours and extended hours as needed including weekends ( Saturdays and Sundays )
• Ability, on a consistent basis, to meet or exceed safety, customer service and efficiency performance minimums
