Job Overview - Interstate routes We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailer, flatbed . This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential. Duties Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds , trucks. Perform routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while maintaining delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that arise. Adhere to all regulations regarding the transportation of goods, including those related to hazardous materials when applicable. Utilize manual transmission vehicles as required by specific job assignments. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with operating various types of trucks and trailers . Experience with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities is preferred. Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures along with forklift operation is advantageous. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong understanding of freight handling practices and safety regulations in the trucking industry.
