Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and requires a strong understanding of inventory management and e-commerce systems. Duties Operate trucks to transport goods to various locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklift equipment when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including inventory management and demand planning data. Collaborate with warehouse staff on picking, packing, and sourcing activities to optimize supply chain operations. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (Class B ) with a clean driving record. Familiarity with inventory management systems and demand planning processes. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
