Job Description

POSITION
Driver About the role: The Driver role requires a determined individual interested in helping our business grow by promoting a culture of teamwork, dedication and superior customer care. What you'll do: Know and comply with state and local transportation safety regulations and company safety policies Perform all pre-trip responsibilities, including: checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, counting items, checking customer invoices of products that have been loaded, and performing "pre-trip safety check" inspection of truck Drive a 26' box truck to deliver customer orders according to a predetermined route and plan routes based on best travel time possible while meeting customer expectations (No CDL needed) Unload products from the truck and place them in designated customer storage areas Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures. Collect money (checks for prepay customers) where required. Contact management for authorization when discrepancies on invoice and communicate all errors/returns Perform all post-trip responsibilities, including: unloading any damaged goods and customer returns and completing necessary paperwork, turning in all funds collected daily, performing safety check and company vehicle maintenance reports, and reconciling with appropriate company representative as required Demonstrate strong customer satisfaction by providing unmatched quality and service Work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish company goals and identify and resolve customer issues Perform other tasks as requested by customers, supervisor and fellow team members including but not limited to: pulling orders to be delivered, shipping & receiving tasks, order fulfillment etc. We are looking for passionate leaders who bring initiative and creativity while putting the customer at the center of all they do!
