Job Description
Summary:
Nassau Provisions is seeking professional, hard-working, CDL B Drivers for local and interstate deliveries. Class B Drivers Immediate Need!!! Monday to Friday beginning at 5 or 6am (depending on route). Drivers make 8-10 stops per day. Class B drivers can earn between $28.00 per hour plus bonus (hourly rates are dependent on experience and driving record) Bonus begins at $2,500.00 every 6 months for safe driving and following procedures/policies.- Inquire with the hiring manager regarding our bonus program! Requirements and Qualifications
- NO moving violations, NO points, and NO accidents in the last three years
- MUST have Valid Class B driver's license
- MUST pass FMCSA pre-employment background and drug screen
- MUST have an up-to-date DOT Medical Card
- 2+ years proven experience with straight truck/box truck preferred for Class B
- Must make in-store deliveries when required
- Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations
- Complete pre and post inspections
- Skilled at driving large vehicles, parking in tight spaces, driving in NYC (all 5-boroughs)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while bending, pushing, pulling on a consistent basis
- Able to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Proficient using GPS and other driver routing system
