Hours :
Monday - Friday (Per Diem)
SUMMARY:
Drives minibus, van, or lightweight truck to transport residents, or company personnel by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drives vehicle from central loading area to activities, doctor's appointments, or other destination according to assigned schedule. Follow all state and federal state motor vehicle rules and regulations. Assists passengers into and out of vehicle. Operates van lift for wheelchair passenger. Secures passengers' wheelchair to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchair during trip. Use cell phone to communicate with supervisor and director. Cell phone or other electronic devices are not to be used while driving. Keeps records of trips and reports any concerns regarding residents to the appropriate person. Report any vehicle repairs that may need to be done and cleans interior/exterior before drives. Understand and follow all HIPAA guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Clean and valid Driver's License; required to provide a state-issued DMV driving report. DMV report is required annually.
