Job Summary:

Drivers are expected to deliver ready mix concrete to various local locations in a safe and professional manner. Drivers are responsible for their safety and the safety of others as well as the quality, quantity, and desired slump of each load of concrete.

Essential Functions and Basic Responsibilities:

Safely operate mixer truck Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and compliant with regulations. Maintain the truck's cleanliness, which includes washing the mixer drum at the end of each shift to prevent concrete from hardening. Basic mechanical upkeep and reporting issues are also part of the role. Complete and submit accurate delivery tickets. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License

• Class A or B CDL. Valid DOT Medical card. Minimum 2 years of recent and relevant experience driving mixer trucks (If no mixer experience, drivers with similar driving experience considered
• such as dump trucks, oil tankers, tractor trailers, etc). Must have a clean driving record
• NO serious violations in the past 5 years (including but not limited to: drug or alcohol charges
• such as DUI/DWI, hit and run, failure to report an accident, operating a motor vehicle during a period of license suspension or revocation, reckless driving, etc).

Must have Monday through Saturday availability. Must communicate well in English with customers and coworkers. Demonstrate good performance, safety, and attendance. Demonstrate the ability to work independently, without direct supervision.
