Tow Truck Operator / Roadside Assistance Driver MD Auto Repair & Towing is hiring a full-time Tow Truck Operator / Roadside Assistance Driver in Patchogue, NY. What You'll Do:
Respond to roadside assistance and towing calls. Safely tow and transport disabled or damaged vehicles. Communicate ETAs and job updates to customers. Provide professional and calm customer service during roadside situations. Perform basic inspections and upkeep of your tow truck. Maintain a clean, organized, and road-ready vehicle. Act as a key on-the-road representative of the company.
What We're Looking For:
Reliable, punctual, and responsible (early is on time). Strong communication and customer service skills. Willingness to learn and be coached. Team-oriented mindset. Ability to work with urgency and attention to detail. Safety-focused approach to driving and operations. Experience in towing or automotive work is helpful but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
$1,100 - $1,500 per week (based on experience and performance). Paid training provided. 401(k) retirement plan. 401(k) matching. Health insurance. Paid vacation, sick, and personal time. Flexible scheduling with shifts provided in advance.
Schedule:
