Woodstone Earth Construction Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and dependable CDL Driver to become an integral part of our team. As a CDL Driver, you will play a pivotal role in our construction operations by safely transporting equipment, materials, and machinery to various project sites. Your professionalism, attention to safety, and commitment to timely deliveries will contribute to the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities Safely operate and navigate commercial vehicles, including flatbeds and equipment trailers, with a valid CDL Class A or B license. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulations along with completion of daily reports. Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries. Ensure secure loading and unloading of cargo, including the use of appropriate securing techniques. Adhere to all state and federal transportation regulations, as well as Woodstone Earth Construction Inc.'s safety policies. Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel. Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as fueling, checking fluids, and routine cleaning. Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with clients, coworkers, and the public. Maintain a commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable practices in transportation operations.Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A or B driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 4 years of relevant driving experience, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment transportation sector/aggregate hauling industry. Must be able to pass drug test and have current DOT physical. General knowledge of construction equipment and materials transportation. Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and electronic logging devices. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading equipment and materials. Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends. Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance tasks and an aptitude for troubleshooting minor issues.What We Provide:
