Job Description

Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Class A Driver to safely transport used oil, waste, and related materials for industrial, automotive, and commercial customers. In this Transportation & Logistics role, you will perform local and regional routes, complete pre/post-trip inspections, manage manifests and logs, and ensure DOT and environmental compliance. You'll operate tankers and box trucks, follow strict safety procedures, and provide reliable, customer-focused service while supporting environmentally responsible recycling and waste management operations across the region. Responsibilities Operate Class A commercial vehicles (tankers/box trucks) for local and regional routes Transport used oil, waste, and related materials safely and compliantly Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment Maintain accurate manifests, logs, and regulatory documentation Follow DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations and company safety standards Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and facility staff Assist with loading/unloading using hoses, pumps, and material handling equipment Report equipment issues, incidents, and near-misses promptly Support recycling and waste management processes at facilities as needed Participate in safety meetings, training, and ongoing compliance programs Required Skills CDL Class A driving Tanker operation Hazardous materials handling DOT compliance Vehicle inspection and maintenance Log and manifest documentation Defensive driving Use of pumps and hoses Time management and routing Basic mechanical aptitude
