Job Description

Are you passionate about teaching and developing others while making a lasting impact on children s lives? We are seeking a Lead Swim Instructor to support the training and development of swim instructors while continuing to deliver high-quality swim instruction. This role works in partnership with the Senior Swim Instructor to help onboard and develop new team members, while primarily functioning as a Swim Instructor. The Lead Swim Instructor plays a key role in maintaining consistency in instruction and reinforcing curriculum standards through hands-on support. This position does not include administrative or leadership responsibilities. Benefits Paid Training Daily Pay available SafeSplash® Brands Curriculum Certification Flexible Hours Free Swim Lessons for immediate family of employees Career Growth Health Benefits (30+ hours per week) Paid time off (30+ hours per week) Wealth Benefits (30+ hours per week Responsibilities Instruction & Student Development Teach swimming skills in accordance with the SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, engaging, and safe manner Provide continuous, positive, and constructive feedback to students and parents Structure class time effectively to maximize learning and skill progression Track and document student progress to ensure consistent development and proper class placement Conduct "Splash n Tell" sessions as required Training Support Partner with the Senior Swim Instructor to support onboarding and in-water training of new instructors Demonstrate proper teaching techniques, curriculum standards, and safety expectations Provide real-time guidance and support to new instructors during their initial teaching shifts Reinforce SafeSplash curriculum standards and consistency in lesson delivery Share observations and feedback with the Senior Swim Instructor and management team to support instructor development Safety & Class Management Ensure swimmer safety at all times by maintaining constant supervision and adhering to all safety protocols Maintain structured, organized classes with efficient transitions Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately to management Operational Excellence Maintain proper use and organization of equipment Ensure timely class start and end times Follow all SafeSplash policies, procedures, and uniform standards Communicate effectively with team members to support a consistent student experience Job Type Part-time / Full-time Weekdays, weeknights, and weekends required
Work Location:
On-site Requirements Prior experience as a Swim Instructor with demonstrated proficiency in SafeSplash curriculum (or equivalent) Strong understanding of swim instruction techniques and safety standards Ability to effectively demonstrate and teach skills to both students and instructors Comfortable providing peer-to-peer guidance and feedback in a supportive manner CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (or obtained within 30 days) training available.
