Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
Safely load and unload all equipment/materials, and properly secure all loads. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of his/her vehicle and be able to explain what one inspects and why. Maintain Electronic Logs and properly fill out a daily logbook when needed. Maneuver and control the vehicle in a safe fashion, which includes backing up, handling the vehicle on-site and in over-the-road situations, proper signaling, searching for hazards, controlling speed, lane positioning, matching speeds to road conditions (wet, dry, snow, or ice), and the ability to drive during the daytime or nighttime. Excellent customer service and presentation when on a customer job site. Maintain a clean, organized, and smoke free truck. Other duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Must have a current valid CDL-A license. Must have 18-Speed and 13-Speed transmission driving experience. At least 2 years of driving experience. Must have a clean MVR. Will be subject to FMCSA regulations including but not limited to pre-employment and random drug testing. Roll-off container driving experience a plus! Must meet attendance schedules with dependability and consistency. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen test and background check.
SAFETY:
This position requires the following personal protective equipment to be worn at all times when out of the truck: Head protection. Steel toed work boots. High visibility safety vest. Other protective equipment as required.
