Job Title:

CDL Class A Driver

Local Delivery Driver Location:
Rochester, NY
THIS IS A 6
8 week assignment that is covering for a medical leave, could potentially go perm

Pay:

$27.00/hr

Schedule:

Monday

Friday Start time: 6:00 AM Typically 8.

5-9 hour workdays

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:

Operate automatic Class A tractor trailers (32

53' International and Freightliner trucks with liftgates) Deliver paper products, floor scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums, wide-format printers, and packaging materials Complete approximately 15-18 delivery stops per day Perform 70% dock deliveries and 30% liftgate deliveries Unload freight using an electric pallet jack when required Maintain safe driving practices and provide excellent customer service

Qualifications/Requirements:

Valid CDL Class A License required Ability to safely operate Class A tractor trailers Experience with liftgate deliveries and electric pallet jacks preferred Strong commitment to safety and customer service

Equipment & Additional Information:

Automatic International and Freightliner tractor trailers 32

53' trailers with liftgates Fleet consists of trucks that are 5 years old or newer Local delivery routes Home daily
