Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A or B Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves commercial truck driving with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. The driver will operate curtain side trucks and trailers, perform equipment inspections, and deliver products to multiple customers. The position offers a consistent schedule, with home every day and only four days of work per week. The ideal candidate will be familiar with DOT regulations, possess basic math skills, and have a strong commitment to safe driving practices. Duties Operate Class A or B commercial trucks, including curtain side trucks and trailers, in compliance with all DOT regulations. Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning before each trip. Deliver products to multiple customer locations efficiently and accurately. Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities. Complete necessary paperwork, logs, and documentation related to deliveries and vehicle inspections. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the truck and trailer as needed. Adhere to dot regarding driving hours, rest periods, and safety standards. Qualifications Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license (CDL). Proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred but not mandatory; training provided for qualified candidates. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation. Basic math skills for handling measurements, weights, and documentation. Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and identify potential issues. Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and reliable work ethic. Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following company policies.
