Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tractor Trailer/Dump truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and commercial driving, with experience in construction environments. This role is critical for transporting materials and equipment safely and efficiently to various job sites. Responsibilities Operate tractor trailers, ensuring safe transport of materials and equipment to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and dump trucks. Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and materials transported. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating vehicles in various conditions. Assist in the operation of additional heavy machinery as needed, including graders, water trucks, horizontal drilling equipment, and paving machinery. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving within a construction environment. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is preferred. Familiarity with operating excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, graders, water trucks, tankers, and paving machinery is highly desirable. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
